about us

Founder and principle designer Jessica Brown of J.B.I.A, LLC, is an internationally renowned interior architect based out of Houston, Tx.  She sees all arts as an expression of the self and an opportunity to connect with others. With over ten years of specializing in high-end, luxury residences, Jessica displays her talent by creating stylish, transitional, traditional and contemporary spaces that are truly stunning. Her love of all design styles and her ability to work fluidly in those styles allows her to help clients define their own unique image.

Through dialogue and exploration of the design processes, Jessica helps clients to refine an expression of themselves, translating this into their home or work space.  Utilizing a mixture of modern and primitive interior design components against simple clean lines, Jessica captures twenty-first century modern living in a way that rejuvenates, inspires and encompasses the essence of living well. Pairing complimentary fabrics, trims and period furnishings with specific architectural elements makes her just as competitive to the traditionalist.  To exceed her high standards and those of her exclusive international clientele, Jessica is known for designing custom furnishings, amenities and fixtures and traveling internationally in search of the perfect element to finish a room.

Ms. Brown is currently in pursuit of her Master's Degree in Architecture & Urban Planning.  Jessica earned her Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture at one of the nation's leading FIDER-accredited programs, the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, where she was nominated one of the top designers of her class by a juried panel of national professionals.  She took with her an emphasis in Lighting Design as well as a double minor in Art and Spanish.
